Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026. This is a plain-English summary for the GemBoss marketing site; your signed agreement governs in case of conflict.

These terms cover your use of the GemBoss website and service. By using GemBoss you agree to them.

The service

GemBoss builds, operates, and optimizes a storefront on top of your existing Shopify store. Nothing auto-publishes: you approve every change.

Your account

Access is currently invite-only. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

Ownership

Your store, domain, catalog, and data remain yours, on the open gem framework. You may export and leave at any time.

Data protection

How we handle personal data is in our Privacy Policy. When we process your shoppers' personal data for you, our Data Processing Addendum applies and forms part of these terms.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or infringe others' rights.
Plans, pricing, and features may change; we'll give reasonable notice of material changes.

Liability

The service is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, GemBoss is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
