How the GemBoss conversion engine works

Six stages. One loop.

GemBoss reads your market, writes the angles, builds a page for each one, tests them on real traffic, fits each page to the shopper and measures what sold. Every result feeds the next round, and nothing ships until you say yes.

Stage 1 of 6

Research. Read the market before writing a word.

GemBoss keeps an eye on the stores you compete with and the pages that already win in your category, so every angle starts from the market as it is this week.

  • Your price and traffic next to the stores you compete with
  • The moves rivals just made: a new quiz, a price cut, a bundle
  • Page formats and offers that already convert in your category
  • Competitor ads beside your own angles, with the gaps marked
  • Your own Google Analytics 4 and Search Console numbers, once connected

Stage 2 of 6

Angles. One product, many reasons to buy.

Give it a product and GemBoss drafts up to five angles at a time. Each one is a different promise to a different person, ready for an ad and a page.

  • A hook, a persona and an awareness level for every angle
  • A creative brief your designer or editor can work from
  • Ad copy written to match the page it lands on
  • A landing URL with UTMs already set, so every sale traces back to its angle

Stage 3 of 6

Build. A page for every angle.

Each angle gets the page that sells it, inside a full path: the ad, a pre-sell page, the product page, the offer, checkout and the upsell after it.

  • Funnels from five templates, plus quiz funnels
  • Advertorials, listicles and comparisons that keep the ad's promise
  • Landing and product pages composed from 60 section types
  • Bundles, quantity breaks, order bumps and post-purchase offers in the path
  • A headless storefront on your Shopify, where checkout stays

Stage 4 of 6

Test. Real traffic picks the winner.

Split any step of the path and let shoppers decide. The statistics stay valid while you watch, so you can check early without fooling yourself.

  • Always-valid sequential tests, safe to check any day
  • Sample-ratio checks on every split
  • Revenue per session, not just clicks
  • You promote the winner. A result is a recommendation until you do.

Stage 5 of 6

Personalize. Each shopper sees the page that fits.

Rules decide which version of a page a shopper sees, from where the click came from to what is already in the cart. Eight ready-made templates cover the common cases.

  • By traffic source, ad and UTM
  • New visitors, returning visitors and past buyers
  • Country, device and cart value
  • Answers from a quiz or a popup

Stage 6 of 6

Measure. First-party numbers you own.

Every session, cart and order is counted on your own storefront and tied back to the ad and the angle that brought it.

  • Funnel analytics, heatmaps and session replay
  • UTM attribution by campaign, ad and angle, with ROAS from the spend you enter
  • Purchases sent back to Meta through the Conversions API
  • One-paste tags for GA4, Meta, TikTok, Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Ads
  • Everything exports to CSV, on every plan

Under every stage

Two things never switch off. It learns, and you decide.

Learns from every result

Each angle is marked proven, untested or a gap. The next round starts from what was proven and from the gaps nobody has filled yet.

You approve every change

Pages, tests, offers and rules are staged for a person. Nothing publishes on its own, and a test winner waits for you to promote it.

Said plainly

What the engine does not do. So nobody is surprised.

It does not launch ads

GemBoss writes the angles, the ad copy and the landing URLs. You create and run the campaigns in your own Meta, TikTok or Google account.

It does not publish on its own

Pages, tests, offers and rules wait for a person. A test result is a recommendation until you promote it.

Server-side events are Meta only

Purchases go back to Meta through the Conversions API. TikTok, Google and Microsoft get a browser tag and UTM attribution, not server-side events, today.

It does not move your store

Catalog, checkout, orders and apps stay in Shopify. GemBoss is a layer on top of the store you already run.

Questions about the engine

Does the engine run on its own?

No. Each stage drafts work for you: angles, pages, tests, offers and rules. A person approves what goes live and promotes test winners. Results do flow back into research on their own, so the next round of drafts starts from what the last test proved.

Where does the market research come from?

GemBoss keeps an eye on the stores you compete with and on pages that already win in your category, using our own market data. Once you connect Google Analytics 4 and Search Console, your own numbers sit next to it.

Do I have to use all six stages?

No. Most teams start with one product: a set of angles, a pre-sell page for the best one and a first test. Personalization rules and the full storefront can come later, on the same engine.

Which ad platforms does it measure?

Any source that sends traffic with UTMs is attributed, with ROAS from the spend you enter. Purchases go back to Meta server side through the Conversions API. TikTok, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Ads connect with one-paste tags.

How long until a test has a result?

It depends on your traffic. Tests use always-valid sequential statistics, so you can look at a result on any day without inflating the chance of a false winner, and the test shows when the result is ready to call.

Run the loop on one product first.

Give GemBoss a product. It drafts the angles, the pages and the first test, and waits for your OK.
